SEVENTH GRADE SCIENCE We will be investigating the processes that occur within cells so that they can survive. Diffusion and osmosis will be studied through laboratory investigations and animations will be used to help students visualize active transport across a cell membrane. Connections between these cell processes and the organism will be made to help students understand the importance of understanding what goes on at the cellular level. The relationship between photosynthesis and respiration at the molecular and cellular level will be studied using snap beads. |
AssignmentsThe assignments for the week will be posted on PowerSchool. Please keep in mind that the assignments that I post are based on my plans for the week. Plans are subject to change, and therefore the dates that assignments are due may change. Your child’s assignment book should be the most accurate location for assignments and due dates. The assignments are listed ahead of time on PowerSchool so that you can get an idea of what we are doing.
